I was quite shocked at the architectural variety in Warsaw, despite its rocky past. The stark contrast between this ultra-modern high-rise hotel and the towering PKiN located just across the street really encapsulates Warsaw quite well. Located next to a large shopping center with very good transit access, the IC Warszawa proved to be the perfect place to stay in town. The rooms are very spacious and comfortable, while maintaining the stylish modernism. The expansive swimming pool, overlooking the PKiN building and half of Warsaw from the 42nd floor, provides the perfect start and finish to any day in town. The staff is also very friendly and welcoming. I did not expect much from Warsaw or from this hotel on my brief visit on the final leg of my trip, but they both managed to completely blow me away. I look forward to returning in the near future, to explore more of the city and indulge more in this hotel.
