Hotel Villa Fontaine Grand Tokyo-Shiodome מלון

This was my second stay with Hotel Villa Fontaine and it was as good as the first time. This time we were welcomed with self-check-in instead at the counter which was pretty easy to use. The rooms were small but just enough for the two of us. Love all the amenities in the room especially the shampoo and body wash. The hotel was also conveniently located near Shiodome station and walking distance to Shimbashi, which made it easy for us to travel to Disneyland. Two things that could be improved on could be the strength of wifi connectivity and the channels on the TV as they were limited and mostly in Japanese.

We slept so well and woke up to a divine breakfast. I am a vegetarian and there were so many options, and everything in the breakfast buffet has a card that tells you what allergens or animal products are in everything. The hotel is directly above Shiodome train station and a short underground walk from a bigger train station. After exploring all day in the hot August heat, to come home midday to this cool, air conditioned lovely hotel that is just outside of the hustle and bustle of the city was just so wonderful. We will suggest this hotel to all our friends coming to Tokyo who want a bit of peace in the madness that is Tokyo. So easy to get around the city from Shiodome. Safe, beautiful and very friendly staff.

Nicely designed hotel with lovely spacious breakfast, foyer and bar area. Friendly and very efficient staff. Breakfast was excellent, best we had on our trip. Very extensive choice of both Japanese and Western breakfast. Shiodome, however, is in the new business district and after work hours it was a little deserted. Ginza is within walking distance, about 10 minutes away. However you are right at Shiodome station, so really anywhere in Tokyo is accessible if you use the extensive subway system.
