I cannot say enough good about this hotel! They went above and beyond for me. The hotel is a 5 minute walk from Shinjuku. I was lugging 2 bags so that was a good thing! As soon as I walked in the door someone ran to help me with my bags. It was not checked in time, but they allowed me to leave my bags and come back. Check in was quick and informative. Everyone working there spoke English quite well! I bought a ticket for the airport bus as I was paying for my room. The rooms are clean and comfortable! The airport bus makes a pick-up at the hotel and drop off is at the door of the departures at Narita, so it was super easy to get to where I needed to go with very little lugging of my bags! I WILL stay here again! Great location and wonderful service!

The location is fantastic, when it says it is 2 to 5 minutes walk to the train station. The hotel was nice and clean, and the staff were nice to let us keep our luggage in the lobby as we got there in the morning before check-in time. Though the rooms were really small, it was good enough for sleeping. The staff are more than willing to help, and will give you a list of attractions and how to get there etc. Some of the staff speak English more fluently than others but they will do what they can to help. We had a great time, and staying in Shinjuku was a great base to get to a lot of areas.

Receptionist was well spoken in English language, welcoming and approachable. The check in and out was a breeze. The room was clean that has everything we needed to make our stay comfortable. Bathroom was nice with great amenities. The breakfast buffet was full of delicious choices of Western and Japanese dishes with egg station. There was a vending machine for beers, softdrinks and coffee on every floor and I like it. This hotel was a modern decors and high standards of fixtures and fittings. Internet connection was very slow and unreliable. The room service was only until 8pm. The heating was on and even after we turned it off, the room still felt warm.

Fairly easy walking distance from Shinjuku station via the south or new south exits, clean, helpful staff, moderately priced given its location and not as small as some Japanese rooms we've had. Dont get me wrong, the rooms are still tiny by western standards, but unless u want to pay top dollar, expect any western style room in Tokyo to be on the small side. After our first night there was little hot water in the morning because the boiler broke overnight. We got a note under our door stating that we would be refunded for that nights stay and it was fixed within 24 hrs I dont think they could have done more to rectify an unfortunate event. They also have an interactive little robot at the front desk that doesnt really do much but is a bit of fun to play with. But the main reason I like this hotel is because its near the Southern Terrace, which is beautiful to walk along at night in winter, especially if it has snowed they light up the gardens etc. Also, Tokyu Hands is in the Takishima Times Square building off the Southern Tce, which is really fun to go up through all the different levels and check out all the japanese novalties u never knew you needed. Perfect for picking up quirky and/or practical gifts. There are also restaurants on a couple of the top levels of the Takashima Times Square building that mostly have english menus available. Shinjuku is also my favorite area to stay in Tokyo because its easily accessable via train, theres lots to do in and around Shinjuku station you could spend a whole day just exploring shinjuku and its fairly easy to get the subway to other sights Shibuya, Harajuky, Tokyo Central GinzaGet a Suica card at the station if youre going to use the subway to explore Tokyo its the easiest way to get around.
